I love Christmas Trees and this is our new, slimmer, smaller tree. Decorated and gracing our living room with beautiful ornaments–a history of our family.

Three of my favorites, the bottom left-hand ornament painted by my BFF and artist Pat Farmer in 1981. And finally our table set and ready for a holiday meal. Blessings to you and your family. May the joy of Jesus fill you to capacity this year!

  1. Loved a look at the dining room. This is THE dining table, right? Can’t help fixating on those walls! And that burling! Just gorgeous. 🙂

Thank you so much, Katharine. Several years back my painting partner and I decided we would do wall finishes. We practiced on her kitchen, then on mine. We stripped wallpaper, added the texture and did what is called a modification of Spanish drag and began the layered painting process. There must be five or six different washes on my walls. I love it, the rest of my family hates my kitchen. Of course, they aren’t artists. They are accountants, fighter pilots…you know those left brained folks…and they all have to live with my off-the-charts right brainishness.

Oh, and when partner and I finished my kitchen we decided there wasn’t enough money in the world to make us do that for a living. So we stuck to painting murals…much faster and a whole bunch more fun!

      Merry Christmas!
